2025 AP Review Classes:
Testing Instructions and Materials

Step One: Watch this brief orientation video

Step Two: Create an AP Classroom account

Click "Create Account."
- IMPORTANT: AP Classroom will only allow you to use one e-mail per account. Please sign up using an email that is not already associated with any other AP Classroom accounts. This can be a school account or personal account.

Please use the below address when inputting the name of your school:

California Home School

1430 N St.

Sacramento, CA 95814

Note: You may receive an error message when inputting your home address. If this occurs, simply enter this address instead: 1430 N St., Sacramento, CA 95814

Next, confirm all of your information and move on to the next steps. Then you will be prompted to go to your email inbox and find a verification code.

Once your email is verified, create a secure password.

Step Three: Join the correct class

Click "Join a Course or Exam."

Add one of Thinque Prep's AP Classroom Add Codes. Choose from the codes below; pick the one that corresponds with the subject you wish to test.

If you are taking a test that is NOT among those listed above

Other subjects: If you wish to take a test that is a different subject from the ones listed above, please contact the office for a unique code.

Step Four: Confirm your Registration in the Class

Step Five: Locate the correct test

Under Courses and Assignments, click "Go to AP Classroom."

Once in the classroom for the desired subject you intend to test, click "Assignments" and then "Active."

Your AP Instructor should tell you which test to take each week. This will also be included in your class syllabus. Do NOT deviate from that order. If you are NOT taking one of this year's AP Review Classes, please ask the office to confirm which test you should take in the test order. Step Six: Gather your materials

Please plan to take the test on the same WiFi-enabled device that you will use to take the Official AP Exam on. Bring a charger as well.

If you are testing in person at Thinque Prep's office., please bring headphones. If you are testing on Zoom, please use headphones as well.

If you are testing on Zoom, please enter the testing Zoom Room.

For STEM tests, please have a calculator and/or a graphing calculator available. If you are unsure about whether your test requires a calculator, please click the link below:

Locate the proctoring video for your test below. This will keep time for you (more coming soon!):

*The timing structure is the same for AP Physics 1, 2, C: Mechanics, and C: Electricity & Magnetism

so they all use the same video (disregard any"AP Physics 1" mentions).

*The timing structure is the same for AP European History, AP World History, and AP World History

so they all use the same video (disregard any "AP US History" mentions).

Note:

Though we have practice tests available for them, the following subjects do not have proctoring videos. You will simply need to follow the timing in the actual test in AP Classroom on your own:

Keep a piece of scratch paper handy to show your work. For STEM AP Exams, you will need to submit photos or scans of handwritten FRQs.
